Social media influencer Jana Kramer recently spoke up regarding the impact of her online work on her ability to support her family. Kramer said, “I’m just so grateful that I’m able to have a platform that I can do things like that to support my family because, you know, listen, the acting and singing world is tough.” The former actress and singer has now embraced influencing as her primary income source.
In this gallery, we take a closer look at Kramer’s success online.

Kramer said, “I remember the one time I got approached to influence a product that they were going to pay me, and I was just like, ‘What the what?’ I’m so thankful.”

Kramer uses her platforms to promote wellness products, share family moments, and inspire followers with creative ideas like holiday decor and kid-friendly recipes.

Kramer stated, “I’ve got two movies signed up for next year. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to film those movies, but then after that, I’m looking for a job.”

She added, “So it’s like you’re constantly… I haven’t had job security ever since I’ve been working. Like, I don’t know if a show is going to continue or not.”

Married to former soccer star Allan Russell, Kramer says his calm nature has helped her become more thoughtful about what she shares online with her audience.

Kramer stated, “I knew when I met him that he was a more private person. He knew when he met me that I was more vocal, shared everything… Now I feel like we kind of meet in the middle. I’m more cautious of the things I say. I’m more aware of the things I say.”

Kramer added, “It’s been, it’s just been a learning curve of this new era of, you know, being so vocal about things. I love having my podcast, I love being vocal, but my husband really helps me with what I share and how I share it. He’s helped me grow in that area for sure.”

Kramer recently removed a video of her 8-year-old daughter Jolie wearing a sports bra after receiving “sexualized” comments. She explained the decision on Instagram, sharing an updated clip of Jolie in a T-shirt and shorts.

Kramer wrote, “Jolie asked to see [the] original this morning and I told her I took it down after some convos.”

Kramer added, “She was sad, l explained why, and I said we can redo… and she said yay. … But kiddos and Roman love to dance.”

Kramer admitted she initially didn’t see an issue with the original video, filmed as part of a fun family dance session. She later acknowledged the risks of sharing such content online.

The “One Tree Hill” alum acknowledged the balance between sharing family moments and protecting her children, emphasizing the importance of being more cautious.

Kramer wrote, “I love to share my kids over insta … and understand some of the risks but I do believe there is a balance in it all no matter how messed up this world can be at times.”

Kramer said, “I had no clue just how far these sickos go,” calling it “sad” that “that’s where this world is at.”
